In General, Filipino citizens need a visa to enter Germany.
Please note that all information leaflets were updated in the new year.
The visa section would like to stress that during the regular processing time of a Schengenvisa (approximately one week) no inquiries regarding the status of the application can be answered.
Notice to all Crewing/Manning Agencies
The Embassy will issue transit visa for seamen with a longer period of validity, longer duration of stay and multiple entries provided that the prerequisits mentioned in the new information leaflet are met.

Visa applications can be submitted only after making an appointment.
Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 13:00 hours
Friday from 8:00 to 11:30 hours.

For inquiries about visa matters that are not explained on the website you may call the Visa Section Monday to Friday 9.00 to 11.00 am as well as Monday to Thursday from 14:00 to 15:00 hours. Due to data protection reasons the Embassy cannot give information on the progress of a visa on the telephone, as the identity of the caller cannot be confirmed by the visa section.The visa section kindly asks you to write your questions into the first column of your e-mail or letter.
