Visa requirements
NOTICE TO ALL VISA APPLICANTS
As of December 1st 2009, the Embassy will introduce updated information leaflets for the visa application, as well as further changes in the procedure of processing visa applications.
Important: Starting December 1st 2009, you may have your visa application form filled out by the call-center of the German Embassy when applying for your interview date and receive the completed application at date of interview in the embassy.
In any case it is highly advisable to have all necessary documents at hand while making the phone call to the call center.
You will have to submit the completed application form together with all other required documents during your interview in the embassy.
You do, of course, have the option to set an appointment only, and complete the application form by yourself.
The German Embassy would like to point out that starting October 1st 2009 the visa stickers issued by this Embassy will NOT be SEALED and SIGNED anymore.
Previously issued stickers with seal and stamp will remain valid.
Philippine citizens require a valid visa to enter Germany. Citizens of other countries should check the list of states below. All travellers must have a valid passport when they enter/stay in Germany.
Adequate travel health insurance cover is highly recommended as the costs for medical treatment in Germany can be high.
