Since 1961 there is a Goethe-Institut (German Cultural Center) in Manila. After over 20 years in Aurora Blvd. in Quezon City, the Goethe-Institut moved to its new home in Makati in mid-April 2006. In November 2009, its new library premises at the ground floor were inaugurated.
