On October 7, 2009, the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GPCCI) successfully hosted the 7th German Ambassador's Cup at the award-winning Sta. Elena Golf Course located in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Leading the roster of players is no less than former President of the Republic of the Philippines, Fidel V. Ramos.

The German Ambassador's Golf Cup is an annual event that provides an opportunity for members of the Philippine and German Government, the diplomatic and consular missions in Manila, and CEOs of local and international companies to meet and share a priviledged moment in a beautiful setting.  The tournament is made possible through the generous sponsorship of various German and Filipino companies.
